Ward was born at MonroeLouisianaon 14 April1976. Ward attended Monroe Christian School, a Christian private elementary school. For secondary educationWard attended Ouachita Parish High School, but she relocated into River Oaks High School on the summer after her senior year. There she was a member of the dance and drill team. Shortly after her graduation she attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward dropped out of high school when she was thirteen years old and began modeling. Her acting career began after a few years down the road. The first time she was cast without credit in the 1970s on the soap opera All My Children. Later she was a part of the short-lived teen drama on NBC's prime time Malibu Shores. The daytime soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the female Meg Cummings in late 1996. In 1999she began to pursue a movie career starring as her neurotic Brittany Foster in the erotic film The In Crowd. The film in theaters was not a success, but it did have some success in the cable market and on DVD. Ward later played a pivotal supporting role in Shallow Hal, a hit film. She has also acted in several other direct-to DVD films and made guest appearances on various television shows including Friends. She was the principal actor in ABC Family's drama show Make It or Break It during the initial two seasons in 2009. The year 2009 was the time she was cast in the role Chloe Kmet as the mother of a teen gymna. She got married David C. Robinson, the producer. The couple had a son named Cameron.
